Caring For Your Honey
Your Robertson Bee Co. honey is pure, raw and unheated. This means your honey has not been processed in any way that would diminish any of its natural, beneficial properties. Raw and unfiltered honey will crystallize more quickly than processed honey, but crystallization has no effect on the honey other than its color and texture. The crystallization of honey actually preserves the flavor and quality of your honey.
To soften crystallized honey, place jar in a pot of hot water for a few minutes. Remove jar and stir honey to blend. Microwaving is not recommended because it can overheat the honey and destroy its health benefits. Honey should not be heated over 100 degrees.
You can heat and dissolve the sugar crystals as often as necessary to keep the honey in its liquid form.
Store honey at room temperature between 70 and 80 degrees. Enjoy!
